1. Who This Policy Covers

1.1. This Policy applies to clients booking or using ProSnagging's property inspection Services, visitors to our website, and users of the ProSnagging client dashboard platform.

1.2. This Policy does not cover the personal data of ProSnagging employees or engineers, which is governed separately under their employment agreements and internal HR policies.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

2.1. Booking and contact information: name, phone number, email address, and (where relevant) the contact details of a representative you nominate for property access.

2.2. Property information: the address and details of the property being inspected.

2.3. Payment information, processed securely through our third-party payment gateway. ProSnagging does not store full payment card details on our own systems.

2.4. Inspection data: photographs, video, instrument readings, and written findings generated during your inspection, which may depict the interior of your property.

2.5. Report access: client reports and dashboards are accessed through private links rather than customer login accounts. We record report terms acceptance and other service records needed to deliver your report. Private report activity is not included in public website visitor analytics.

2.6. Communications: records of correspondence via WhatsApp, email, SMS, or the ProSnagging platform, including booking confirmations, reminders, and support conversations.

2.7. Website usage data: public pages viewed, visit times, recorded activity duration, referral domains, campaign labels, country estimate, coarse browser/device information, booking steps reached, clicks on contact and booking links, and successful contact or enquiry submissions. Website analytics records the type of action, not the contents of forms, messages, telephone numbers or email addresses. We also retain the observed connection IP address, registered network operator, website host and serving application node for up to 30 days, accessible only to authorised owner accounts (see Section 8).

3. How We Collect Personal Data

3.1. Directly from you, when you enter details in our booking form, book a Service, or communicate with us. Booking progress and contact details are saved as you type, even if you do not finish or pay.

3.2. During the inspection itself, via our Engineers, who capture property data as part of delivering the Services.

3.3. Automatically, through our first-party website measurement and hosting infrastructure when you use public website pages.

4. How We Use Personal Data

4.1. To provide the Services: scheduling, conducting, and delivering your inspection and Report.

4.2. To communicate with you: booking confirmations, reminders, and updates about your inspection, and to offer help with an unfinished or unpaid booking using the contact details you entered. Only authorised owner accounts can access the unfinished-booking contact list. These details are kept separate from anonymous website visitor measurement.

4.3. To process payment for the Services.

4.4. To improve our Services, including using aggregated, de-identified inspection data to understand common defect patterns; we do not use your personal data for this purpose.

4.5. To send marketing communications, such as warranty-related reminders and review requests, where you have not opted out. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

4.6. To comply with legal obligations, including under UAE law.

5. Who We Share Personal Data With

5.1. Our Engineers, to the extent necessary to conduct your inspection.

5.2. Our payment gateway provider, to process payment.

5.3. Communication platform providers (for example, WhatsApp Business, email service providers) to deliver booking and report communications.

5.4. The Developer of your property: ProSnagging may prepare Report content in different formats as part of the Services, including a version structured for the Developer's operations team to action repairs. Regardless of format, every Report is delivered to you, the Client, only. ProSnagging does not transmit your Report directly to the Developer. Any sharing of your Report with a Developer, including forwarding a developer-formatted version, is done by you, at your own discretion, using the sharing features of the client dashboard or otherwise.

5.5. Professional advisors and authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5.6. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5.7. With your advertising-measurement consent, Google receives advertising interaction and connection information and, after a verified paid booking, the paid value in AED and a unique transaction reference. We do not upload your name, email address, phone number, property address, report content or payment card details for advertising. Google's processing may take place outside the UAE under its privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and commercial record-keeping requirements under UAE law), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Inspection Reports and associated media are retained to provide access to your report and support enquiries about the inspection. Client report access does not require a customer account. Website connection details have the separate 30-day limit described in Section 8.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including access controls on our platform and secure processing of payment data through our third-party gateway. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Website Tracking

8.1. We use first-party, cookieless measurement on public marketing pages, including service pages, guides, blog articles and the booking page, to understand website use and referral traffic. This in-house visitor measurement does not write tracking cookies or browser storage, collect form contents, track private reports or staff portals, or link visits to identifiable customers or bookings. Daily pseudonymous visitor identifiers rotate each UAE day; they are estimates, and shared connections may merge visitors. Because limited connection details are retained as described below, website usage records should not be treated as wholly anonymous during that retention period. Separate, optional Google Ads conversion measurement is described in Section 8.5.

8.2. Observed connection IPs and associated network and application-server details are restricted to authorised owner accounts and expire after 30 days. Expired details are no longer available and are removed by automatic retention cleanup. Other website activity remains without those connection details. Network lookups use a local public registry; we do not send visitor IPs to an external lookup or analytics service. An observed IP may belong to a proxy or VPN, and country and duration are estimates, not proof of physical location or exact time on site.

8.3. Website measurement honours supported browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and excludes recognised bots and signed-in staff. Essential authentication cookies used for staff access are separate from website analytics. You can manage those cookies through your browser settings.

8.4. A WhatsApp link click does not tell us whether you sent a message, and a phone link click does not tell us whether a call connected. Form submission events are recorded only after the website accepts the submission. Booking-step and booking-submitted events do not establish that payment was completed. Contact details, communications and verified payment records are handled separately to deliver the Services, not joined to website visitor measurement.

8.5. Google Ads conversion measurement is optional and off until you choose Allow measurement. If you allow it, the Google tag can use advertising cookies, including _gcl_ cookies, to attribute verified paid bookings to advertisements. Google may receive advertising click identifiers, connection/browser information, a public page location without its query string, the verified booking value in AED and a unique transaction reference. This is separate from our in-house visitor records; we do not send those records or upload contact details through enhanced conversions. Personalised advertising remains disabled. We do not install Google Analytics, a Google Tag Manager container or Meta Pixel. The Google tag is not loaded on private report or staff pages. WhatsApp/call clicks are not treated as paid bookings. You can reject advertising measurement without affecting booking, payment or report access, and change your choice using Advertising privacy choices in the footer. We honour supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. An essential preference cookie remembers your choice for up to 180 days across our bare and www domains. After consent, browser storage remembers up to 100 transaction references to help avoid duplicate conversion events; withdrawing consent clears that local list and accessible first-party Google advertising cookies, and reloads the page to stop the loaded tag. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent to Google. Google may retain information under its own policies; see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

8.6. The website also uses resources and services distinct from first-party analytics, including hosted fonts, Google Maps on the contact page, our payment gateway and links to WhatsApp. When your browser loads or opens these services, their providers may receive connection information and process data under their own privacy policies. Booking draft recovery, checkout and staff authentication may use browser storage or cookies for their essential functions; these are separate from cookieless website analytics.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable UAE data protection law, you may have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations; object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (including hosting and payment processing infrastructure) may process data outside the UAE. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will publish the updated Policy here and provide additional notice or obtain consent before new processing where applicable law requires it. A policy update or continued website use does not by itself provide consent where separate consent is required.
